## New homepage: the insurability layer · the Insurability Index

The second A/B pivot, ported from the mock-up into our stack. **v0.12.0** leads on insurability:
carriers are filing to exclude AI, and the way back is evidence an underwriter will accept.

- **New homepage.** Hero with a live sample **Insurability Index** card (score counts up on scroll,
  five weighted dimensions, the accept/fund/fix doors), a standards strip, the questionnaire-vs-
  evidence comparison, the **six-level ladder** (L0 Unmapped → L5 Underwritten) as an interactive
  selector showing what each level buys and the evidence it needs, the five weighted dimensions,
  the two audiences (Mandate for enterprises, Ledger for brokers and carriers), the three-door
  mechanic with no fourth door, and the FAQ.
- **Both previous homepages are now nav-linked pages**, alongside staying selectable in the
  switcher: *You own the risk* (v0.10.0) and *The grant is not the mandate* (v0.11.0), both under
  The problem. Neither duplicates a byte — they are manifest entries pointing at outputs that
  already exist.
- **Never-in-line held.** The mock-up's footer tagline said "Enforce the mandate"; the body already
  said the opposite ("Do you sit in the runtime path? Never"). The footer now reads *Own the
  mandate*, and a smoke assertion fails the build if enforcement language reappears on any homepage
  we still ship.
- **The market statistics did not ship.** The mock-up asserted 60+ carrier filings, an 80% approval
  rate, and three specific ISO form numbers with effective dates. Those are checkable claims about
  the real world that we cannot source from here, and a homepage is the worst place to carry a
  number that ages. The section makes the same argument qualitatively and says the specifics belong
  in the dated assessment. Smoke asserts the figures stay off the page.
- **House style adopted** from coding.sgit.ai: per-block property alignment in CSS, **every colour a
  token** (four literal hex values that slipped in were replaced), plain semantic class names,
  `data-*` as the behaviour hook, and native custom elements with no framework or bundler — which
  the vault already did. Geist/Inter/JetBrains web fonts and their CDN preconnect were dropped for
  the system stack, as with the previous pivot.
- Smoke: 20 groups, including the Index card and ladder behaviours and the guards above.
