The home page as the partner drew it: reach, mandate, gap, barriers
A homepage design arrived from a business partner. It is better than what was live, and it is built here as drawn — their copy, their structure and their decisions, including the two that overrule positions this site had taken.
The four objects are now reach, mandate, gap and barriers. Plainer words for the same four
things, with the verbs kept: measured, elicited, derived, recorded. The files and the data keep the
older names — GRANT.md is the reach and DELTA.md is the gap — because the vocabulary is pinned at
abp.sgit.ai and sixteen published vaults are built against it, and the page says so↗
rather than leaving a reader to discover two names for one object.
And the levels carry prices again. The store publishes a boundary↗ saying riskmandate.ai never holds a price, and v1.22.0↗ removed every price from this site for that reason. The design puts four prices, two deposit splits and four delivery times back on the home page, and that is the version shipped. This re-opens a boundary the other team wrote down and they should be told. Every figure was read from store.sgit.ai/compare↗ at site v0.3.24 on 17 September 2026, and the page says so beside them, so a price that moves is detectable rather than silent.
The numbers in the design were checked rather than trusted, and one was wrong. The delivery times — immediately, 1 to 2 days, 1 to 3 days from your reply, 1 to 5 days from your reply — and the a fifth now splits are exactly the store's published figures, not invented. But the design says fifteen published templates and there are sixteen: the Gmail-connector vault shipped in v1.22.1↗ after the design was drawn. The page says sixteen.
A test now holds both counts to their source. The four hero numbers are checked against
vaults/claude-code-web/data/delta.json, and the count of published shapes — in digits and spelled
out — against the length of vaults/index.json. It was verified by putting the design's "fifteen"
back and watching the build fail. The same class of staleness has now cost this site a wrong price in
six places and a wrong template count in one design; it is cheaper to assert it than to notice it.
What else is new on the page. The gap drawn as a figure for the first time: the agent at the centre, the ring of what it was authorised to do, and the gap outside it. Every agent will need a licence to operate, with the two dated 2026 changes beside it. The three steps with honest status chips — available now, template available, in design. Four view cards for the CEO, CTO, CISO and insurer, which is the multi-audience argument made concrete. The draft-to-version flow as five steps. And the level cards, each with what it is, when it arrives and who does the work.
One word changed from their copy. "The policy lives in an encrypted vault" became "the behaviour policy", because on this site policy is also the insurance instrument and saying it bare is the confusion the synthetic-user study↗ measured two readers falling into.
Not adopted: the four-item navigation. The design shows Why now · How it works · For leaders · Pricing, which is better than the seven groups this site carries. It is not in this release because the menu is shared chrome on every page and adopting it hides roughly twenty pages — an information architecture decision worth taking deliberately rather than as a side effect of a homepage.
