Who buys, and when
The X-ray sells at a moment: a decision is coming, and somebody wants to walk into it with a picture rather than a feeling.
| Buyer | The moment | Usual level |
|---|---|---|
| Owner or managing director of a company with 10 to 250 people | "Busier than ever and making less money." A board meeting, a bank review, a bad quarter. | Standard |
| New managing director or CEO | The first ninety days: what did I inherit? | Tailored |
| Chair or non-executive director | Before a board meeting, a second view on what the pack leaves out. | Standard |
| Fractional CFO or finance director | A new client: the first week's reading done in a day. | Partner licence |
| Accountant or business adviser | Year end, when the documents are already in hand, as an add-on to the accounts. | Partner licence |
| Investor or acquirer | A first look before paying for full due diligence. | Tailored |
| Business owner preparing to sell | Seeing what a buyer will see, first. | Tailored |
| Charity trustees | A trustee board with a treasurer and not much else. | Standard, with a sector pack |
Who does not buy
- Large companies with a finance team and a BI platform. They already have the numbers joined up; they lack other things.
- Anyone who wants the X-ray to connect to their systems. Not in this plan. A later phase could, if the demand is there.
- Anyone who cannot share documents at all. They can buy the kit and run it themselves, with nothing leaving their own account.
