9. Risks

Risk	Why it matters	What to do
Children	Many students are minors. Recording, notes and clips about children need parental consent and a safeguarding policy.	Adults only in the first phases. Design consent and a guardian's key before any junior programme.
Other people in clips	Match clips show opponents and partners who did not agree to be recorded.	Clips for the coach only, not shared further; blur or crop where possible; ask partners.
Personal data	A player's record is personal data, and coaches' notes can be candid.	The player holds the key, and can delete the vault. Notes are about play, not the person.
Clubs feel bypassed	Direct coach-player relationships can look like leakage.	Share remote revenue with clubs, and sell through them.
The agent gets it wrong	A note that misstates what the coach said is worse than none.	The transcript is kept beside every note, and the coach can correct it.
Coaches do not keep it up	Two minutes at the end of every lesson is a habit to form.	Start with coaches who already care; measure it; make it the last drill of the lesson.
Key management	Players lose keys; coaches leave.	Few keys per player; lean on password managers; the call for collaboration on key management.
Undisclosed commissions	Kit recommendations that pay the coach damage trust.	Every recommendation states any commercial interest.
